I started off in education over three years ago as a volunteer at All Saints where I gained a lot of experience. Whilst volunteering, I achieved my level two qualification in supporting Teaching and Learning. From there a LSA position came up at Sharnford and I started just before Christmas in 2019.
I particularly enjoy working with Key Stage One and supporting them to develop both physically and emotionally and allowing them to explore their environment in a positive way.
It is also lovely being in such a supportive team where everyone helps each other with a child centred approach in a family environment.
Outside of school my personal interests are animals which includes anything with fur, scales or feathers.
I have recently got a black Labrador puppy called Blossom and we really enjoy going on five mile walks together over the fields.
Over the years I have had a personal zoo with many different animals such as: snakes, lizards, parrots, pygmy hedgehogs, tarantulas, turtles, an African Spurred Tortoise, chinchillas, tropical fish, frogs, stick insects, African snails, cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, a pony and many more!
