Mr Gray - Year 3 & 4 class teacher
I have been working in education for a number of years now, first as a teaching assistant and now as a teacher.
During my time teaching in Year 3 and 4, I have greatly enjoyed getting to know the children, their families and the staff at Sharnford Primary School. Having joined the team this year, it has been a privilege to be part of such a wonderful and supportive community.
Whilst supporting children in their academic progress is fundamental, I believe that schools should provide children with the opportunities to develop their emotional resilience and social needs.
As individuals, we are all different and I believe that children should be given opportunities to explore their talents and interests through a variety of subjects. In the case of myself, I have always found Geography and History to be fascinating subjects, enabling children to develop an understanding of themselves and the world around them.
In my spare time, I am a passionate rugby supporter and enjoy playing the game as part of a local team.
