My profile

I have lived in Sharnford for over 30 years and am an active member of the Methodist Church.  I have recently retired after 35 years as a teacher of science and IT and was a head of department for 15 years, so have lots of experience of the education system. Both my children went through Sharnford C of E Primary School, where  they received an excellent education. I have become a foundation governor for the Sapcote and Sharnford Federation because I believe that every child deserves the best possible educational experience to enable them to flourish and wish to support the schools in giving the children an excellent start in their learning journey whilst promoting Christian values.
