Spring Term Overview

Key Information:

PE:  PE will be very Thursday this term. The children are to come to school in their PE kit on Thursday. This year, the school have asked that children wear the new school P.E kit. 

Swimming: This term, the children will be attending swimming every Monday. Children will need to come into school in their school uniform and bring their swimming costume and towel with them in a bag.

Homework: This half-term, children have a number of homework activities to choose from each week which are all based around their Geography topic on Europe. Homework will still be due every Friday. Children will continue to be given a paper copy of their spellings each week.  (Click here to be taken to the, 'Weekly Homework Tasks' page).

As part of the homework that we send home, we ask children to read at least three times a week, practise their spellings and practise their times tables by using Times Tables Rock Stars.  Reading records will be checked each week for signatures and their will be a weekly spelling and times tables assessment.
