Visits and Visitors

We are fortunate to have a range of visitors to help deliver high quality and engaging collective worship. Rev Jo, Mrs Sheila Grice, Mr & Mrs Lambert, Mrs Sutcliffe and Open the Book all visit the school to lead the children in worship. We are also fortunate to have termly Prayer Spaces set up for all children to reflect upon the 'Big Questions', by participating in a variety of accessible activities. 

As part of our RE curriculum we regularly visit St Helen's where the children have participated in many activities such as knitted Bible and the Christmas Tree festival. One of our most memorable and moving experiences for the children is our five mile pilgrimage to Leicester Cathedral. Along the way, and in the service itself, the children have time to reflect on the strong foundations of life at Sharnford, ready for the next part of their journey to high school.
