Miss Ward - Year 1 & 2 class teacher

I graduated with a BEd (Hons) degree in primary education in July 2018. Since then, I have been enjoying a rewarding career as a primary school teacher. I have taught in two schools; the first being a city school in Coventry with a Year Four class, the other being at Sharnford Primary School with Year One and Two. My strengths lie in primary English and Physical Education, but I teach a range of subjects, all of which I have interest in. I am currently PE lead for Sharnford Primary School as well as a Communication Champion. The best part of my job is working alongside the children and helping them to develop into independent and passionate learners who share my enthusiasm for education.

In addition to this, I am fascinated by how we learn, and I believe that learning is a lifelong passion. I am always excited to learn new things and push myself with new experiences. I hope to go back to university to complete my masters. Out of school I spend my time doing lots of physical activities such as rock climbing, yoga and running. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
