Literacy

As part of our Literacy curriculum, children will have weekly whole class reading sessions, guided spelling lessons and a weekly handwriting session.

During our Literacy lessons, children will be focusing on the following text-types this half-term:

• Setting Descriptions
• Character Descriptions
• A non-fiction fact file
• Kennings
• Haikus
• Free Verse Poetry
• A Newspaper Report
