Mrs Wright - EYFS class teacher
I have been a teacher since 1996 and started teaching at Sharnford in 2008. I currently teach EYFS children but have also taught Year 3 and Key Stage One children in the past. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy having the opportunity to provide a caring, safe, stimulating and challenging environment for the children I teach, in order to promote independence and a passion for lifelong learning. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work with so many children and families over the course of my teaching career.
Within the school, I am the history and geography co-ordinator, which is wonderful because history is my subject specialism and I love finding out about the past. I am currently involved in helping to design a new curriculum for the school with staff from across our hub of schools - a role that has been challenging but very exciting!
Out of school, I love spending time with my family. I have two children and a devoted husband. My greatest passion in life, apart from my family, is animals. I have many pets including two ragdoll cats, a boxer dog and a pug. I am also the proud owner of 15 tortoises, most of which I have rescued!
